The nearest airport to AIIMS is the Indira Gandhi International Airport (16 Km). You can catch the Airport Express metro from there to AIIMS Metro Station (on yellow line), or a cab (Uber/Ola are famous app based cab providers in Delhi) to AIIMS. The nearest railway stations are Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station (8 Km) and New Delhi Railway Station (9.5 Km). The Delhi Metro is the easiest primary mode of transportation in and around Delhi. AIIMS is surrounded by two metro stations - South Extension (Pink Line) and AIIMS Metro Station (Yellow Line). To figure out the complicated metro stations, you can download the DMRC app, available on Play Store or App Store. Google Maps works amazingly in a city like Delhi, don’t hesitate to use it.

Your college ID Cards, a government photo ID card and all your registration invoices (soft copies of invoices work too) are essential before you pack your bags for INSIGHT. Bring some semi-formal attire, anything you would wear to your college. An open mind, ready to learn and have fun is also an essentiality when stepping into INSIGHT. For everything else, our team is there to help. Delhi is an amazing place, you won’t find insufficiency of basic needs here. All workshop/event specific requirements (stationary, equipment, aprons, gloves etc.) would be provided at the venue.

Always remember, AIIMS is a institute of national importance and above everything a government hospital, so basic decorum is warranted. We would recommend you to strictly wander only in the college premises allotted as INSIGHT venues, with the map as your savior. Always feel free to ask someone where you are, and which way is your target. The campus is huge, even patients have a hard time figuring out their way here. Identify the organizing team by a red coloured lanyard on the identity card with their name and designation written on it, and never be hesitant to ask them your queries. The organizers will also be wearing T-shirts with their names and designation written on their backs. We do not have provisions of accommodating a friend/parent in most events due to venue capacity limitation, and hence will strongly discourage bringing one along.

MUN Gala: The Prom Night is a MUN-only social. Only MUN participants, Executive Board Members and Committee staff are allowed entry. No +1s can accompany participants. We will encourage intra-conference couples. The decision of the secretary general is final and binding for all MUN related queries.
